  Lexington City Schools is located in the heart of Piedmont North Carolina. Our city offers a unique blend between rural and urban life. With local attractions ranging from world-renowned artist galleries to Nextel Cup racing, we think there is something for all to enjoy. Aside from the features residing in this, our area, Lexington is also situated no more that 30 minutes from the Triad cities of Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point as well as the Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI).
