ANACONDA ELEM

Welcome to Anaconda School District #10. We hope you take the time to explore the wide variety of information available to you. Our goal is to make your visit something more than a one time look or an occasional visit. We want to encourage and enhance communications, understanding, trust, and mutual support between the District and the people it serves; to increase both the quality and quantity of public participation in school affairs, activities, and programs; to strengthen and improve relations and interactions among staff, trustees, citizens, parents, and students; and to promote understanding and cooperation between the schools and the community.

The counseling department will help guide the implementation of 鈥淧ersonalized Learning Plans.鈥� This program will be designed to help guide students into life after high school. Freshman will begin by exploring their strengths and interests; then begin looking at the variety of jobs related to their created profile. Sophomores will build on their profile even further throughout the year. Juniors will start looking at what they need to do to get ready for their future plans. Seniors will begin the next journey in life by selecting colleges, military branches, etc. In summary, a focus on extending high school past grade twelve will be developed and enhanced.
