• GIBRALTAR AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT

  
  

  Gibraltar Area Schools is a pre-kindergarten through 12th grade district. It serves the communities of Gills Rock, Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, and Baileys Harbor, all of which reflect a tradition of support for academic, athletic, and cultural achievement. A high percentage of the residents are self-employed business people and many residents are involved in service occupations. Located in Northern Door County, Wisconsin, tourism is the main economic base of the communities. Governed by its own Board of Education, the school district serves approximately 578 students.

  The Mission of the Sevastopol School District is to focus all resources toward the betterment of students; to provide an environment which encourages the development of moral, social and global consciousness; to prepare individual students for their futures by enhancing the desire and ability; to learn, to problem solve critically and creatively, to deal with change successfully, and to serve all the people of the district to the best of our ability.
