  The Community Group: Is a multi-program organization that provides employment and professional advancement opportunities for a diverse workforce of more than 250 employees. Provides state-licensed and nationally accredited early education and child care programs for more than 1,000 children each year. Established and managed child care centers for a variety of organizations, including a clothing manufacturer, a private preparatory school, and a district court. Trains over 2,000 educators annually in workshops, conferences and college courses. Was the first organization in Massachusetts to develop training, professional development, and college courses in Spanish for Spanish-speaking child care workers. Assisted renowned pediatrician Dr. T. Berry Brazelton with the production of parent training videos. Was a founding member of the Massachusetts Association of Day Care Agencies and the Massachusetts Charter Public School Association. Manages child care subsidies for over 7,000 youngsters in the North Shore/ Merrimack Valley. Employs a full time data analyst. Has been featured on the Today Show and ABC Evening News as well as Inflight News on American Airlines.

  Welcome to Whittier Tech, where our students tell our story best. Since our school first opened its doors nearly 40 years ago, our graduates have gone on to leading colleges and training programs and now excel in careers they first studied here. We educate students from 11 area cities and towns, giving them the skills and specialized training they need to pursue the careers of their dreams. Our students choose a major from one of 20 vocational-technical fields and graduate with a high school diploma and industry certifications. They are excelling in healthcare careers, electronics-robotics, carpentry, cosmetology, electrical , CAD drafting and culinary arts, to name just a few fields. Our 120 highly-qualified teachers challenge students in both their academic classes and vocational technical programs, ensuring they get the knowledge they need to pass certification tests as well as the English, math and science MCAS tests required for a diploma. Our students have the unique opportunity to earn college credits while attending Whittier, and also receive valuable job experience by qualifying for paid co-op jobs as early as their junior year. Our motto is 鈥淲orking on Your Future鈥� and we embrace that ideal every day.
