  A-O School District offers an excellent educational program for all students. Here are a few interesting facts about our A-O schools. Argenta-Oreana School District is comprised of approximately 76 square miles of territory in Macon and DeWitt counties. The communities of Argenta, Oreana, and northeastern Decatur are located within its boundaries. Most people are surprised to learn that our school district extends in Decatur as far south as Pershing Road, as far west as Woodford Street, and as far east as Lake Decatur. The northern portion of our school district extends into DeWitt County, encompassing a few acres of farmland.
