  The organizational structure of the Mifflin County School District is as follows: 8 - Elementary Schools (Grades K-5: Primary Grades K-2; Intermediate Grades 3-5), 3 - Middle Schools (Grades 6-8), 2 - High Schools (Grades 9-12). Mission: Educate each student to meet life's challenges. Vision: We envision an innovative, stimulating, and exciting school community where all participants are actively engaged in learning in a safe and secure environment. We offer an excellent educational opportunity where each student acquires the skills necessary to maximize potential and enhance creative thinking. Each student is challenged and prepared to become a lifelong learner in a global society. We commit to continuous growth and utilization of best practices in assessment and instruction and in the application of technology. We model the "Twelve Traits of Character," embrace diversity and demonstrate responsible citizenship.

  Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center was built in 1968. The educational complex is situated on approximately twenty acres and consists of the 81,136 square foot school and an annex of 1,966 square feet. Most instructional areas include both classroom and laboratory/shop areas. The Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center is jointly operated by the Juniata and Mifflin County 海角视频. Students completing at least grade nine from one of five sending high schools comprise the school's population. Students attending non-public schools in Juniata and Mifflin Counties are also eligible to attend Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center. Enrollment averages about 500 students annually. Vocational-technical educational programs offered at the MJCTC are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Students receive academic credit from their sending high schools for successful completion of each planned course at the area vocational-technical school. This assists students in completing the requirements for graduation as determined by their high school. Upon successful completion of all planned courses in a specific vocational-technical program, students also receive a program completion certificate from the Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center. The school currently operates on a half-day schedule. Students attend both their high school and the MJCTC daily, spending approximately one-half of their day at each site.

  Mission: Tuscarora Intermediate Unit exists to provide learner-centered services that significantly accelerate learning and achievement for every learner by name. Tuscarora Intermediate Unit is a regional educational service agency meeting the needs of the public and nonpublic schools, personnel and students in Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin Counties. As a service agency, the Intermediate Unit has no direct line authority over local schools. In addition to providing requested services, the Intermediate Unit implements programs and services mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the State Board of Education, the General Assembly, the United States Department of Education and the United States Congress.
