  In the聽 U.S. News聽Best High Schools 聽 2012 rankings, Chelsea High School was ranked 21st out of 826 high schools in the state of Michigan and earned聽 silver medal recognition. (That puts CHS in the 97th percentile in the state.) In the National Rankings, Michigan has 6 schools with gold medals, 49 with silver medals, and 149 with bronze medals.聽 To be eligible for a state ranking, a school must be awarded a national gold or silver medal.

  Multicultural Academy is a culturally rich school centrally located in the close-knit community of Ann Arbor. Multicultural Academy opened in 2004 with a K-5 multiage program as well as a 6-8 program. 聽A high school program was added in 2008 for students grades 9-12 and has been very successful! We also offer dual enrollment programs through Washtenaw Community College and Eastern Michigan University. Virtual and AP classes are available for students who qualify. In addition, all of our students, grades K-12, are required to participate in our foreign language program where they are introduced to the Spanish and Arabic languages.
