  In Wirt County, we believe every student is a priority and deserves the best that we can offer. The Board of Education, administrators, teachers, and support staff continuously strive to provide the best possible education for each student and see that each child reaches his or her highest potential. Welcoming the challenges of the future, we are committed to establishing high academic standards and providing quality programs for each student. The Wirt County community also places education at a high priority. We attribute much of our success to the parents, citizens, friends, and supporters of public education. Realizing that educating children is a shared responsibility, Wirt County citizens are actively involved in our schools and have supported an excess operating levy for over fifty years. Community support and the commitment of our staff ensure that Wirt County students will be provided every opportunity for success.
