  Boling Independent School District encompasses 147 square miles and serves students from a population of approximately 3700. The school district is located in Boling, Texas, 60 miles southwest of Houston and 10 miles from the county seat of Wharton. Established in 1928, Boling Independent School District offers a comprehensive educational program from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Boling Independent School District's students excel in academic competition with approximately 80% continuing their education after high school graduation.

  Educational Philosophy / Mission Statement: All students will develop essential academic skills and acquire a knowledge base upon which to build lifelong learning. Citizenship, economic responsibilities, heritage, logic, independence, creativity, and communication shall be emphasized. To fulfill this mission, instruction must be of the highest quality, equity must be maintained for all students, and educators shall be accountable for results.

  El Campo ISD traces its roots to a one-room schoolhouse with seven students established in 1889. The El Campo Independent School District was officially organized on August 15, 1895. El Campo ISD currently serves 3,500 students on five campuses: Myatt Elementary (grades Pre-K-1), Hutchins Elementary (grades 2-3), Northside Elementary (grades 4-5), El Campo Middle School (grades 6-8) and El Campo High School (grades 9-12). Our district offers a wide range of innovative programs while retaining a rural atmosphere with a rich history of cultural diversity. The district also provides an extensive network of support programs designed to give all students the opportunity to succeed. The mission of the El Campo Independent School District is to provide all students the educational opportunity and motivation to learn the skills necessary for academic and vocational excellence.

  Wharton ISD鈥檚 motto is 鈥淢aking a Difference鈥� and we have! The administration and teaching staff are very proud of the difference our students have made this past year in academics, athletics, fine arts, and vocational education. WISD students competed in all of these areas at the state level. Our facilities are better, more attractive, and most importantly, safer than ever before. We will keep raising the bar ourselves until all of our schools are either Recognized or Exemplary. We are on a definite path of improvement as we propel all of our students to excellence.
